Afcil industries limited manufacture and exports afciset. It is a range of hardeners for sodium silicate binders for consistent uniform and higher strength cores & moulds. They have two types of afciset. These are afciset 61 and afciset 62 / 63 / 64.
Afciset 61 is a powder catalyst for hardening that reacts exothermically with sodium silicate to form silica gel that results in bonding of the silica grains.
Afciset 62 / 63 / 64 is a another range of organic ester hardener in liquid form with varied setting rate.
Afciset 61 is available in powder and afciset 63/64/65 is available in liquid form.
